Cycle jumble sale raises over £450 for club charities

On Saturday 2 April, the club held a cycle jumble sale at Maglia Rosso, to coincide with their open day. A team led by Yaz Peachey with help from Ron Back and Neville Pettit collected unwanted cycling-related clothing & equipment from WSW members, raising over £450 from sales on the day and cash donations.

WSW are holding several events during 2022 to celebrate our centenary year, the next of which will be a club open day at our HQ on Mount Road, in the grounds of the Priory School on Saturday 7 May. All are welcome to come long and see what the club has to offer – we’re particularly keen to recruit people who are either new to cycling (and triathlon) or who wish to come back to the sport.
