Annie Drugan and Hannah McInroy Naylor took part in the Tri UK Shropshire standard distance triathlon on Sunday 29th May.
This event is GB qualifier for the 2017 European championships in Austria. It was close between both WSW triathletes most of the way, with Annie fastest in the water and on the bike and Hannah taking the time back on the run. Hannah come in at a tidy 2:22:22 with Annie not far behind in 2:24:31. Annie’s time was good enough to for 2nd in age group in her first ever race over the Olympic distance. Hannah also placed high in her age group with a 4th position and so both girls gain automatic qualification for GB. Race splits:
