Having been rescheduled from a few weeks earlier owing to high winds and snow, the Suffolk Punch went ahead on Sunday 8 March. We had 66 riders in all, with 8 riders on the Stallion (80 miles), 15 riders on the Gelding (62 miles), 34 on the Pony (38 miles) and 9 on the Falabella (14 miles). There were a few mechanicals but all riders made it back safely.
The event raised a total of £ 538.13 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Our thanks go to Kevin Marshall, this year’s event organiser for putting it all together.
