Wheelers have been out competing in all forms of racing recently, and in all weathers.
On April 23rd, Lee Sturman and Martin Brown headed to Beccles for the VC Baracchi 2023 Ringsfield Road Race, finishing 38th and 26th in heavy rain.
Steven Rue is on the podium in Ibiza . After pre-qualifying in Romania last year, Steve took part in the ITU World Duathlon age group Championships in Ibiza. In hot sunshine he finished third in his age group with a time of 2:30:03 (after a 10k run-40k bike- 5k run) and proudly stood on the podium for Team GB alongside athletes from Portugal and Spain. Now for some sangria and partying.
Steve Bottomley has a great win in Cyprus. Steven traveled to Cyprus for the UCI World Series Grand Fondo. He won his category (Sportiv) within his age group. He was delighted to wear WSW colours and comments “Racing at 20 degrees C is decidedly more pleasant than in UK weather!”
