Huge congratulation go to Angela Joiner-Handy and Steven Rue who both won their respective English National Duathlon Championships at the weekend. Competing in the standard distance duathlon at Oulton Park on Sunday (8th Oct), both came 1st in their age group over the 10k run, 40k bike, 5k run event.
Angie put in a great performance to finish not only as 2017 England Champion in her age group, but also 7th female overall.
Steven has had a stellar year competing in duathlons in his age group: 3rd in the British Championship, 3rd in the European Championship, 6th in the World Championship and now the top step of the podium as 1st in the England Championship.
