Diss & District 25 – 3 August
6 of us made the start at Diss and District 25 this morning with some trepidation for this course which is categorised as hilly. Only Martin Pyne was familiar with the course. ‘ The hills give you something to work off’ he said.( Huh! What does he know!)
The results have proved him right:
Lee Sturman 59:47, a second sub hour performance this season, a gold standard and a PB.
Martin Pyne 01:07:12, a silver standard for his first 25 this season.
Steve Rue 01:10:58, silver standard and seasonal PB.
Peter Kennedy 01:15:05 a seasonal PB.
Cordelia Cole 01:20:37 (RB) on her first 25 this season.
Rita Rue 01:24:06 (RB) also with her first 25 this season.
If you haven’t tried this course, give it a go. It’s fun! You’re either going up a hill or down a hill. And when you’re only half way up, you’re neither up nor down ….
