West Suffolk Wheelers your help would be much appreciated.
West Suffolk Wheelers are hosting round 9 of the Eastern Cyclocross League on Sunday 15th December 2024 at West Stow Country Park, West Stow.
We are asking for volunteers to assist on the day of the race, a few to set up the day beforehand and a few to help the final tidy the day after the races. This is a big event and we need a number of Marshals to make it happen. We are expecting racers from all over the region and beyond as our event and course is very popular with both seasoned riders and novices.
We’re need assistance for safety, parking, sign on, race monitoring set up and tear down. We are running the event as a team and I will be the point of contact for anyone who can assist so please contact me if you can help in any way even if its just a few hours. Remember the alternative could be being dragged around the shops having to do Christmas shopping!
The more help the better so that we can share the load, It worked really well last year with small teams being able to manage breaks and refreshments. Your help in previous years has been invaluable. You might even fancy racing yourself – click here to enter using the British Cycling website.
