The 2022 National Cyclo-Cross Championships took place at the weekend with two days of action at the South of England Showground, near Crawley. Competitors faced very wet and muddy conditions on both days, with Sunday’s action captured on Eurosport and the British Cycling YouTube channel. The Eastern Region was represented by a large number of riders in all the categories. Regular National series rider Peter Golding was unable to start due to a leg injury, leaving Harley Gregory as the only West Suffolk Wheeler, and he was delighted to finish 11th out of 80 starters in the Under 16 category.
