The first round of the Suffolk Race Series at Trinity Park, Ipswich on Weds 13th saw good results for the youth and adult racers.
Alex Cooper claimed his first win in a great U14’s race. The U14’s and U12’s races go off together around the closed roads of the show ground. With a small group of riders working together around the course for the 20 minute race Alex came in as 1st U14 boy closely followed by U12 rider Harley Gregory to claim victory in the U12’s!
Amy Johnson rode well to 5th in the women’s event. There were six Wheelers in the 3rd/4ths race with Matt Denny finishing 18th, Scott Williams 27th, Mark McCormack 37th, Malcolm Borg 40th, Christian Hare 42nd and David Young 44th. Whilst former wheeler Sam Asker won the bunch sprint for 2nd place. More action every Wednesday evening at the Trinity Park, Ipswich until July 18th.
Three Wheelers also took part in the Godric 10 mile time trial in Earsham on 16th June. Paul Rooke finished in 22 minutes 10 seconds, David Young 25:26 and John steed 26:44.
