The final results of the Thursday evening time trial series are in!
Firstly, a massive thank you to everyone who helped run the events this year. Without you, the fun simply would not happen and congrats to all our riders and winners.
This year, we had 34 different Wheelers riding, with a total of 48 personal bests. As a reminder of the rules, scoring goes down to the first 19 finishers, and the league is based on the best 12 scoring rounds for the Overall and Road Bike competitions. The Hill Climb counts towards the Overall competition, but not the Road Bike competition, as everyone rides a road bike for a Hill Climb!
Overall
1st – Lee Sturman, 350 points
2nd – Richard Farrow, 282 points
3rd – Sean Purser, 380 points
Best Female, with 109 points, is Cordelia Cole.
Road Bike
1st – Sean Purser, 330 points
2nd – Joe Kaye, 265 points
3rd – Geethana Yogarajah, 186 points
Best Female, clearly was GG 😊.
Collard Shield
For the Collard Shield, scoring is 1 point to start, 2 points to finish, and 3 extra points for a personal best on the course. The fastest-ever 10 on an evening TT also earns an additional 3 points. All events count.
1st – Stephen Moore, 78 points (8 PBs)
2nd – Cordelia Cole, 75 points (9 PBs)
3rd – Lee Sturman and Sean Purser, 54 points (4 PBs)
