2024 Evening TT round-up

The results are in for the evening TT series run from April to August. Overall, we had 40 different West Suffolk Wheelers competing this year, with a total of 38 personal bests recorded over 12 different courses.

The overall winner is Matt Shingleton with 345 points, followed closely by Lee Sturman with 340 and Richard Farrow in 3rd with 281. Winning the ladies competition and finishing 16th overall with 90 points was Carol Watson, with Cordelia Cole one place behind with 75. The road bike competition was won by Martin Brown with 295, Peter Golding came 2nd with 281, and taking 3rd place and also the ladies trophy was again Carol Watson with 197 points. The Collard Shield, where points are scored for participation and personal bests was won by David Flowerday with an exceptional 6 pb’s over the season and overall points tally of 63. David Young finished 2nd with 57 and 4 pb’s, with Lee Sturman 3rd, 54 points and 2 pb’s.
