Sunday 4th December saw another fantastic turnout of Wheelers for the second event in the Winter League Cross Country series at Woodbridge.
A bright day at race HQ but an icy breeze to deal with made conditions challenging. Not that it put people off. In total, 17 Wheelers took part which meant another full complement for the team standings. It can’t have been far off our best turnout!
The course was tough and sapping with it being soft and sandy under foot, but it was dry. Only the last few hundred meters where a detour into a field had a section of ankle deep mud to deal with.
Lots of great performances, Matt Shingleton 18th, Nick Bull 48th, Tom Betts 53rd, were the top 3 wheelers.
